In loving memory of Mimi the dog (????- 1.2.2012)

The 1st Encounter:
I couldn't remember how it was when she first came into our house. But I do remember why. My dad asked me do I want to have a dog or not few days before she came. I wanted to say yes,but I had a stray cat at that time and I was pretty much comfort and enjoy his companion,so I wasn't so sure whether I wanted to break that companionship or not,so I kept silence. My mom said no,but we always ignored her voice,so the dog came anyway.
Such a tiny hyperactive jumper. She could jump as high as my thigh (I was 10 years old) without a break for 10 times. Her story was: A friend of my uncle got her from the street (she was probably a lost dog). Knowing my uncles love dogs too,he gave her to him. While my uncle was having two Chihuahuas at that time, he couldn't afford to have this hyperactive MinPin anymore. So he gave it to my dad, which is my family where she live happily for about 13 years. She wasn't a puppy anymore, but still very young. Probably at the age of 1 or 2. So we never had puppy biting habits problem with her.

The 1st Walk:
It was an evening. I volunteer myself to walk her. Tiny but strong she was the one who actually walking me. I was excited. Although she's not the first dog of our family, she was my first. She loved the grass. She keep bolting and chocked herself every time that I had to get her harness someday. But the first walk,I was not doing it rightly,my bro said. Everyone was outside with me and her,my two brothers.
A walk in the morning and evening became hers and our habit for 13 years. We never toilet trained her but she never pee or poo in the house. She would wait for the time for us to bring her out. Well, unless she couldn't hold it any longer, which is our fault. During my school years,I took afternoon nap on cushion and she would jumped up and woke me up with her licks whenever it was her walking time. She was very persistent that I had to give in every time.
During her young age,we had to keep her on leash during the walk as she was a runner. As trust and bonding grew stronger,we let her out off leash. But she would still try to sneak away under our watch (smart!) and we would have to run in front of her to stop her from going further. As she grew older, she became more sensitive and fearful and dare not to venture far from our house without us walking with her. Until the day before she left, she still insisted to go out to pee with her weak wobbly legs. Just that we have to carry her as she couldn't walk too long.

The 1st Nest:
We gave her a box to sleep in, and put her at the back of kitchen at night. I would eventually carried the box with her sleeping inside to the back of kitchen every night (I don't know why). Then we found an old dog cage,so we caged her at night when we sleep. Fearing that mosquito would drained her blood, mom made a mosquito net for her (tailor-made!). Then we changed furniture so she had a cushion as bed! My mom made her a cotton (real cotton) bed too! She changed quite a few beds in her lifetime!
At her old age where she couldn't jumped with bad eyesight, she couldn't sleep inside her cage anymore.Mom put her bed outside of her cage.We let one of the lights and fans for her at night.

The Last Hyperactive:
Whenever I came back, she would welcome me with her short waggy tail and butt so that anyone could tell how happy she was. Then I would let her sat on my lap like old time until mom urged me to bath. But this time she just gave me a short greeting. She didn't came out like usual when I got home until I went near to her bed. She still follow me around for a while and curled up on my lap for a little while. Mom said she just recovered from don't know what sickness and she just got back her strength to walk around on that day.

The Last Days:
Her eyes were in grey caused by cataracts, almost blind. Her hearing ability decreased that we not sure whether she still could hear us. She was so skinny that as if only a layer of skin covering her bones. She just laid on her bed the whole day until she stood up signaling us that she wants to go out.
Her condition was unpredictable. It was a day of getting better then a day of just sleeping on bed. On the 8th day of Dragon Year, she refused to eat anything, even cereal with minced meat that she finished the day before. At night, we tried to feed her hard-boiled egg and to our relief, she ate the whole egg yolk and half of the egg.
On the 9th day, again she refused to eat. Just a little bit of 'Ang Gu' and water. I put her on my lap for the last time as mom changed her bed cover. At night,I noticed her breathing difficulty problem. She was like dropped her head to a side and grasping for air. I sat by her and comforted her until she got her breath back. I told mom that tomorrow we should call the vet. Mom said she is just waiting for her time.
2 something at night, I was sleepy but I was unwilling to sleep. Mom wasn't sleeping yet as well. I kept an eye on her while editing my resume. Mom went to bed. She grasping for air again. My hand felt her bed was wet. She wet her bed at last. I told her it was okay and I'll bring her to vet tomorrow and she hid her face away as if she felt ashamed of wetting her bed. I shut down my laptop, left the light and fans on for her and went to bed.

Back to the 1st:
Mom woke me up saying I should be awake. I checked the time,it's 8 just something, too early and unusual for her to wake me up. I wanted to get back to sleep but I felt something was not right,so I got up anyway. I went out to look for her but she and her bed was not there. I asked mom where is she, mom said she's dead. Mom put her in a box with her towel. Her eyes weren't shut tight, her limps weren't stiff, as if she was just sleeping. We dug a hole and buried her at the back of our house. She is still nearby.

I watched an episode of Dog Whisperer where a family was still grieving for their lost dog. The kid of the family said the dog has finally able to run freely again and not covered in white fur anymore. I guess this is the best way to think of her. She is hyperactive again with her cute big puppy eyes that made her looked smart, her sharp hearing, and loud barking, she is young once more. I would never forget her young days where she jumped around the cushions in living room like crazy, her big wide eyes, her snuggled on my laps, slept on my butt when I laid in living room watching tv. I would never forget also my heartache when I saw her cataract grey-white eyes, white muzzles and whiskers, white fur,old age of her.

She made me fall in love with dogs.
We grow up together but I wasn't here when she was growing old.
Mimi was a great dog.
Thanks you for growing up with me.
Sorry for not being there with you while you were growing old.
But I'm glad I was here during her last days.
Mom said she'd chosen the right time.
Indeed. I came back for new year. I was here with her.
I was the last person she saw and heard. And she waited until everyone was asleep. Then she sneaked away. Silently.

cute puppy eyes

Me, sitting on sofa facing laptop.
Mimi, the family dog, came by my leg and stare at me with her puppy eyes (although she's 10 years old).
Me, notice the puppy eyes and say: 'Hi Mimi~'
Mimi, wags tail.
Me: 'zomok? want 'mom-mom' (eat) ah?'
Mimi, wags harder.
Me, pour 2 spoons of dog food into her bowl and mix with water.
Mimi, wags tail and show appreciation eyes, then eat her food.
After awhile, Mimi finished her food. Mimi came and stare at me again.
Me:'zomok ah? I just fed you wor~~'
Mimi, wags tail, turn her head and look at her snacks, then turn back stare at me again.
Me: 'Oh, you want eat that ah?'
Mimi, wags harder, jump at sofa, show exciting eyes.
Mama showed up and shout: 'MIMI! YOU JUST ATE! WANT KENA SPANK AH??!'
Mimi, got scared and look at mama, then look at her snacks, show sad and 'bu she de' eyes, then walk back into her cage......

HOW CUTE~~~

spend money buy happy 2

Today I went Pipit Wonderful Market at Central Market because Lois Loo of Wonderkitten was having a booth there. That place was full of handmade arts, people, and people with arts! Trully 'water leak not pass' (水泄不通)human traffic jam! Many artists at their booths showing their creative arts and hard work. Although artworks there were quite expensive, should support if can la! Also, that place was full of people with camera! I was too shy to take pictures with my K770i phone, so I got no picture of the crowd and the arts to show. But I can show you this!

Wonderkitten's 'Stop chasing, start enjoying' postcard'. There was meaning behind this set of postcard. Everyday we'd been busy doing something, chasing something, but put down the mask that we usually wore each day, what are we chasing, actually? And see, the masked T-Rex is so cute! Reminded me of Digimon that T-rex Greymon. Ah, I should have buy the limited keychain and handphone string too......

Then, there's a flea book sales at KL central monorail with 'buy 5 free 1' board. So me and Small Black went crazy and bought books again -_-'
'

Gahh...I'm broke. I shall eat 'Kong Piah' for the next whole week.

My Milky refused to eat after I went back kampung and made herself thinner ever than before... Now you can see her ribs and pelvis (if that bone part terminology is the same like human's) clearly from far. Garh...'sam tong' die me lor...... So I'll have to spend money and make her happy and gain back her fat again -_-''

My dog refuse to eat when I'm not around. Although I'm not sure of the reason she refused to eat (depress because nobody walked her and let her loose from her chain?Or miss me too much so she got no appetite?Or she doesn't like her food?), but who would starve herself for not seeing me other than my Milky? Oh Milky Milky I love you~~

(Land dog vs. Water dog)

Yesterday I brought my dog for a swimming lesson! Ok actually it was Wendy, Alicia Kee the Husky's manager who brought us. With a bunch of people and dogs. Where we went? Kota Kubu Bharu, 1 hour plus plus distance from the city.

If you don't know,Milky Chang got carsick. 30 Minutes distance is still consider OK, but 1 hour distance! At the beginning of the journey, she was still quite ok,jumped here and there in the car,and try to made friend with Alicia Kee and Wendy Kee~

But after awhile, her saliva kept coming out, which means she started to feel sick liao. So I have to comfort here, made her look me in the eyes, and suddenly she had this funny looking face as if she was smiling! But that wasn't smiling face, it was 'I-feel-very-sick-I-want-to-vomit' face! But it was too late for me to realize that, and before I could do anything, she vomited her last dinner out in the car -.-'' Gross, I know. But she's my dog and it's not my car,so I have to clean up, or at least try to clean up. Then she vomited second time! Wendy said 'faster give her plastic bag!' and i said 'too late -.-''' I'm very very very paiseh bout this lo Wendy Kee~~Next time we go near near place, dun go far far place liao~ hehe,if still got next time~

After Milky got nothing more to vomit, we also reach there after 1 and half hour. Milky never swim before,so I thought although she hates bathing, maybe she'll like swimming~All dogs know how to swim instinctively~ But I was wrong!I brought her down water myself, but she kept cling on me and wouldn't let go her paws! I never knew dogs can hug someone like that~! So ok fine, she don't like water. We spent so much time to get there and she refuse to swim -.-'' Some more vomited in friend's car, WTH~ Ok lo at least now I know that my Milky is land dog,not water dog.

Conclusion of the day: Alicia Kee is a water dog,not snow dog. Milky Chang is a land dog.

dead kitten

My heart ached whenever I saw dead animals on road. Today, I saw a kitten. At middle of the road of entering ss2. I'm at guilt. I saw blood and I think I saw its tail moved when I passed by for the first time. I was too shock that I refuse to look at it in detail. I felt unsettled. So I went back for second time. It was too late. Too horrible to describe. Maybe it wasn't dead yet when I passed by the first time. My hesitation made me at guilt of it's death. If human are ignorant pigs, I'm one of them. Many ran-over animals died on road. Often in horrible stage that I would not want to describe. It is plain heartache. Today I'm at guilt. I hesitated. I'm at guilt.

Sometimes I wonder what if that was my dog who got run-over by traffic on road? What if it was Milky? or Xiao Wei the new kitten in house? They were strays before we adopted them. Every stray animals have high chance of being run-over by traffic in this modern age. That's why I wouldn't let Milky go wonder even after she's spayed. Last year I didnt' adopt a limped kitten and she died by ran-over. I couldn't help myself but wonder what will happen to her if I adopt her and keep her in house. She would probably still very much alive.

When human get into accident on road, at least someone will stop and help. But when an animal get into accident on road, hit and run happens and nobody will even notice the suffering animal on road. They will just die in suffering and without dignity.

dog lover

If you say yourself as a dog lover, but only love certain pedigree, you're just a pedigree lover.

If you say yourself as a dog lover, but never touch or feel love for any stray dogs, you are a pretended dog lover.

If you buy a pup from a pet shop just because he/she looks cute, but stop loving him/her once she grown up, you're a dumb ass. Human babies are cute, but do you think human adults look cute?

If you have a dog but never really love him/her,you're an ordinary human being by making your dog as a guarding tool without having any emotional attachment to your dog.

If you buy a pup just to please your girlfriend/kids,you're an irresponsible selfish ass hole. High chance that your pup will end up being abandon in future when you break up with your gf/your kids don't know how to take care the dog/you're moving to an apartment or a new place that doesn't allow you to have dog. Plain excuse. Dog lovers wouldn't move to a new place that wouldn't allow to have dogs.

If you adopted a dog from shelter but send him/her back to the place again, you don't really want a dog.

If you adopted dogs from street, take care and love them like they're your own children, you have every right to say you're a dog lover and I shall respect you.

True dog lover have restricted freedom as they need to prioritize their dogs before they decided to do anything such as go for vacation, move to a new place, have new family member etc etc...They dedicated almost 24 hours a day 365 days a year to their dogs.

How to train your dog? Top dog approach: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/topdogrules.htm
I shall start walking Milky everyday~

Human and dogs

I just came back from FFF and I can't wait to write about this.

Do you know Grace? One of the Pulau Ketam dogs that swam over from hell island and rescued by the rescue team? She's back in the farm now. Indeed she's more happy than she was. I cleaned up Pulau Ketam dogs area today and squeezed/water shoot/wood-sticked/swept a lot of dog poos.Somehow after we'd done everything and went to help up feeding the dogs, Grace got out from the cage. She didn't ran far from her cage. Instead, she was running and rolling on the glass happily while other Pulau Ketam dogs barked at her jealously. She was enjoying herself and asking me to play with her. How cute was that? Another volunteer told me that she wasn't dare to come out from cage and they have to carry her when she first came. Her soul has healed, but I wonder do she remember the trauma event that she went through before she's safely with us in FFF? If she has memory capacity like a human, will she be as forgiving as she is now? Unless he or she had amnesia disorder, a human would never forgive such traumatic event that other human being put him or her through.

Just now before I came back came, I went to a pet shop to buy some stuff for Milky. When I passed by some human on my way to cashier, I overhead a girl saying something like she's going to sell her golden retriever. I got a bit mad and uttered 'you bought it and you want to sell it?' before I walked away. Maybe I heard her wrongly or I misunderstood what she meant, but yeah, YOU THOUGHT DOGS ARE TOY OR PROPERTY AH? BUY AND SELL? HE/SHE IS A LIVING CREATURE! HE/SHE MAY BE JUST A DOG FOR YOU, BUT YOU ARE EVERYTHING FOR HIM/HER!

And I just got Milky spayed yesterday for the sake to avoid pregnancy. She's still moody moody and no appetite. She's so quiet and stable now that I'm worrying her personality will change after this. I do not really plan to spay her before this. Blame that blardy useless male dog that my housemate called him 'little tiger'.

Days at Furry Friends Farm

最近比较忙比较忙比较忙~忙什么呢?看下图~
Was rather busy recently,I mean really busy. Here's one of the stuff that I was busying on:
毛毛园=Furry Friends Farm

I'm not sure how to call this area, dogs that were saved from Pulau Selat Kering can be seen at the back.

This is one of the pen/pan. Count how many dogs were there in the pic~

Another pen/pan/compound. Happy strays ran freely here~

Few of the 'dai koh' 'dai jeh' that were allowed to 90% freedom

Can't remember his name,resting inside cabin~

This is lovable Cash, yes his name is Cash. Favourite of all time. See a line of scar on his jaw? According to Michelle (one of S.A.D. member), his ex-owner tied his jaw with rubberband for a long period of time until he was saved. Although he's a happy dog now,the scar remains.

Another handsome dog that I don't know his name.A manja one as well.

Cash and Dodo. Dodo is very very manja girl.

And this,is my Milky~not in FFF of course.我家有女初成长,she's a big grown up girl now~

What we did there? We moved tons of dog foods and rice, cleaned the place, bathed/walked/played/fed the dogs. Sounds easy right? When there were more than hundreds dogs waiting to be fed, you think it's easy? One day is enough tiring, imagine you have to do that everyday? Absolutely salute to Sabrina.

Each dogs on the Farm has their own story behind. Some of them had gone through life that we couldn't even imagine. These are the dogs that were abused, abandoned and saved. They deserve second chance to live.

Can't wait to visit FFF again next week.

Don't breed or buy while shelter animals die

Content of this post was copied and pasted with permission of Shoba from Remembering Sheena's blog.

A Letter from a Shelter Manager (forwarded to us by Yen):

I think our society needs a huge " Wake-up" call. As a shelter manager, I am going to share a little insight with you all. ..a view from the inside if you will.

First off, all of you breeders/sellers should be made to work in the "back" of an animal shelter for just one day.

Maybe if you saw the life drain from a few sad, lost, confused eyes, you would change your mind about breeding and selling to people you don't even know. That puppy you just sold will most likely end up in my shelter when it's not a cute little puppy anymore.

So how would you feel if you knew that there's about a > 90% chance that dog will never walk out of the shelter it is going to be dumped at? Purebred or not!

About 50% of all of the dogs that are "owner surrenders" or "strays" that come into my shelter are purebred dogs.

The most common excuses I hear are;

"We are moving and we can't take our dog (or cat).

" Really? Where are you moving to that doesn't allow pets and why did you choose that place instead of a pet friendly home?

Or they say "The dog got bigger than we thought it would".

How big did you think a German Shepherd would get?

"We don't have time for her". Really? I work a 10- 12 hour day and still have time for my 6 dogs!

"She's tearing up our yard". How about making her a part of your family?

They always tell me: "We just don't want to have to stress about finding a place for her we know she'll get adopted, she's a good dog."

Odds are your pet won't get adopted & how stressful do you think being in a shelter is? Well, let me tell you, your pet has 72 hours to find a new family from the moment
you drop it off. Sometimes a little longer if the shelter isn't full and your dog manages to stay completely healthy. If it sniffles, it dies.

Your pet will be confined to a small run/kennel in a room with about 25 other barking or crying animals. It will have to relieve itself where it eats and sleeps.

It will be depressed and it will cry constantly for the family that abandoned it.

If your pet is lucky, I will have enough volunteers in that day to take him/her for a walk. If I don't, your pet won't get any attention besides having a bowl of food slid under the kennel door and the waste sprayed out of its pen with a high-powered hose.

If your dog is big, black or any of the "Bully" breeds (pit bull, rottie, mastiff, etc) it was pretty much dead when you walked it through the front door. Those dogs just don't get adopted.

It doesn't matter how 'sweet' or 'well behaved' they are. If your dog doesn't get adopted within its 72 hours and the shelter is full, it will be destroyed.

If the shelter isn't full and your dog is good enough, and of a desirable enough breed it may get a stay of execution, but not for long.

Most dogs get very kennel protective after about a week and are destroyed for showing aggression. Even the sweetest dogs will turn in this environment.

If your pet makes it over all of those hurdles chances are it will get kennel cough or an upper respiratory infection and will be destroyed because shelters just don't have the funds to pay for even a $100 treatment.

Here's a little euthanasia 101 for those of you that have never witnessed a perfectly healthy, scared animal being "put-down"....

First, your pet will be taken from its kennel on a leash. They always look like they think they are going for a walk - happy, wagging their tails.

Until, they get to "The Room", every one of them freak out and put the brakes on when we get to the door. It must smell like death or they can feel the sad souls that are left in there, it's strange, but it happens with every one of them.

Your dog or cat will be restrained, held down by 1 or 2 vet techs depending on the size and how freaked out they are.

Then a euthanasia tech or a vet will start the process. They will find a vein in the front leg and inject a lethal dose of the "pink stuff".

Hopefully your pet doesn't panic from being restrained and jerk. I've seen the needles tear out of a leg and been covered with the resulting blood and been deafened by the yelps and screams.

They all don't just "go to sleep", sometimes they spasm for a while, gasp for air and defecate on themselves.

When it all ends, your pet's corpse will be stacked like firewood in a large freezer in the back with all of the other animals that were killed waiting to be picked up like garbage.

What happens next? Cremated? Taken to the dump? Rendered into pet food? You'll never know and it probably won't even cross your mind. It was just an animal and you can always buy another one, right?

I hope that those of you that have read this are bawling your eyes out and can't get the pictures out of your head I deal with everyday on the way home from work.

I hate my job, I hate that it exists & I hate that it will always be there unless you people make some changes and realize that the lives you are affecting go much further than the pets you dump at a shelter.

Between 9 and 11 MILLION animals die every year in shelters and only you can stop it. I do my best to save every life I can but rescues are always full, and there are more animals coming in everyday than there are homes.

My point to all of this: DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER PETS DIE!

Hate me if you want to. The truth hurts and reality is what it is.

I just hope I maybe changed one person's mind about breeding their dog, taking their loving pet to a shelter, or buying a dog.

I hope that someone will walk into my shelter and say "I saw this and it made me want to adopt." THAT WOULD MAKE IT WORTH IT!

DON'T BUY FROM PET SHOPS. ADOPT FROM AN ANIMAL SHELTER. CALL YEN IF YOU CAN PROVIDE A HOME FOR A RESCUED DOG OR CAT. CALL HER ALSO IF YOU WANT TO BOARD YOUR PETS. SHE HAS A GREAT PLACE AND THEY WON'T BE CAGED. THE INCOME SHE EARNS FROM BOARDING GOES INTO RESCUING AND REHOMING STRAYS. SO YOUR PETS HAVE A GREAT TIME WHILE YOU ARE AWAY AND IN THE PROCESS YOU ARE ALSO HELPING ABANDONED AND HOMELESS ANIMALS.YEN: 012 415 1524

Dogs Matter to Us

I'm happy. My initial plan for just a small donation drive in my college is going to be a big one with a strong force behind me.

When I asked Little V that if I'm going to organize a donation event would she help me, she brought in my gang. These are people with strong leadership and they have plenty of experience in organizing events. Steph and Wei Choon, I appreciate that~ I need more volunteers~ B.Psychers here, what says you? XD

Yes this will be a donation drive for the Dog Rescue Mission about Pulau Ketam dogs. The funds will go to Sabrina Yeap's FFF (Furry Friends Farm) as her farm use no euthesize on dogs and she's keeping most of the rescue dogs in her farms temporarily. SPCA had have enough fund for the operation as they are internationally recognized organization. Public will mostly donate to SPCA, but not FFF.

Anyone wants to donate? Here's the detail (copy and paste from TV Smith's page) :

Pulau Ketam Day 1

Yes I went to Pulau Ketam today. For what? To survey the island and to prepare next trip to save dogs from the island.

Photos from today's trip, shoot by a freelance photojournalist with a 8k professional DSLR Canon don't know which version camera.

'To say one own as dog lover, must have some action to prove it,and now is the time to start'

Instead of kacau the work of those professional animals right activists doing their work on saving dogs from the inhabitable islands, I'm joining a volunteering work of getting the stray dogs out of Pulau Ketam before the head of village have no choice but call the Manipal folks to get rid of the dogs. Mind you, some of the press might projected the villagers as crual or inhuman, but for me, they are just traditional chinese village folks. They're friendly and united among themselves. They put their bikes everywhere without having to worry they won't see their bikes after they come out from a shop. It's a peaceful village. No they don't hate dogs, they were worry what will we do to the dogs after we get the dogs. They don't want the dogs to die, but they just don't know that the islands that they put the dogs are so lifeless, or they forgot that the dogs have lost the ability to survive by their own.

The task we're going to do is not easy,I don't know how we're going to do it, or how will it works out. But I'm serious in this.

Rescue mission ON

Sorry folks,I'll delay pics and writing on Redang trip. I'm currently into this:

In case you didn't get any news about this matter, click HERE and HERE.
For full coverage of news on this, click HERE.

To summarize, Pulau Ketam folks trapped more than 300 stray dogs of the pulau and shipped them to another inhabitable and isolated islands, Pulau Tengah and Pulau Selat Kering. Now these dogs are starving to death on the islands. Rescue mission is carrying out by SPCA and Furry Friends Farm to get the dogs back to mainland. Some critiqued the Pulau Ketam villagers inhuman act, while some critiqued the rescue mission for wasting money to save dogs.

In my opinion, Pulau Ketam recidents complained to Majlis Perbandaran that stray dogs problem was getting serious but they don't want Majlis Perbandaran people shot down the strays, so someone came out with the idea that transport all the stray dogs in the town to another island. Stray dogs problem solved, and they think the dogs are survivor, can live without food and fresh water on the inhabitable island. People don't want the dogs to be shot dead, so they spent money and energy to trapped and transfered hundreds of stray dogs to another island. This is act of goodness. But I think they forgot that dogs, that had became domestic animal since few thousand years ago, had lost their wildness because they were too close to human and were dependent on human on survival. None of the dogs were born without having contact with human in their whole life. They won't be able to survive without human around.

As another saying that why waste the effort and money to save the dog, a life is a life, let it be animal or human. More over, dogs are creatures that are emotional, just like human. And yes, I'm a dog lover. And it's time to have make some contribution if I'm to say I'm a dog lover. I'm planning to organize a fund raising for the rescue mission in my collage, with few friends helping out. Just a small event, to collect as much money as we could, and help to save as many dogs as we could from the island. I just sent out an email to get approval from the Head of Department. Hope to get a reply soon. Also, I contacted someone from a forum that is trying to form a group to collaborate and help out the rescue mission. It's time for devotion.

voiceless voice

If you do not know, kaven have a soft spot for animals. Especially dogs.

I'd always wanted to do something, to help the stray or homeless animals, but being financially dependent still, there's very limit I can do. At least I saved one life from being homeless,my Milky. Although sometimes I wonder would she be happier if I didn't took her away from her family? Hmm....that's a little story behind.

She was found a the backdoor of my friend's house, together with another three puppies. She called me to ask me what to do with the puppies and would it be ok to send them to SPCA as she knows SPCA will 'put them into sleep' if nobody adopt them in certain days. Well I just said I can take one of the pup in, as I was too 'dog-sick'. So they sponsered me some dog stuffs, then we went to see the pups. The pups looked healthy except serious ticks and skin problems. While we standing there waiting for my decision on which pup to take, a couple of India siblings came over and said they were their pups and they're taking them back. Their grandfather thrown the pups there b'cause he hates dogs. The Indian girl was wearing that she'll kill her grandpa if he thrown the pups again. Yea obviously she's a dog lover too,who would swear to kill their grandpa for dogs right? Haha~ Anyway,we told her I was about to take the dog b'cause we thought the pups were abandoned. She said I could take them if I want. So the pups homeless issue was solved, it just about whether I still wanna take a pup with me or not. Since we already bought dog food and shampoo and all that,so yeah,so here's Milky, the skinniest among the pups at that time.

Milky(top left) with her siblings

Left:How I brought Milky back--in my cloths washing 'baldi' i forgot the English word.
Right:First few days at home. Simple adorable and cute~

Ok I'm really of the topic. What I really want to say is this:

Sigh...Malaysia Government would do nothing on this until someone like Obama take the PM post.
So, what we can do now is....curse those animal abusers! Also those reckless drivers that ranover animals and did nothing about it!!

Ok the more practical one is, volunteer or donate to NGO animal protection group.
Or just being nice to stray dogs or cats =) Like xiao ming mei mei let stray puppies slept on her foot in restaurant without complain~~
and report any abuse on animals to those groups like SPCA. Abused animal can't speak, but you can! So speak for the voiceless!

R.I.P.

Remember that a cute kitty that I mentioned in my blog last few months ago? The Siamese kitten. He was not a kitten anymore,a big grown cat now,but still cute. The Indian family that lives opposite called him Spotky or Spotty, something like that. But now he's gone. I found him laid death outside just now, when I walked Milky. He's dead, for unknown reason,he was not breathing anymore. I suspect he might be knocked down by vehicle,as he was born imperfect in terms of physical. Whoever his murderer is, I curse that he or she to be a stray cat next life. I know there are many of us that love this cat. I feel sorrow that he was not buried with dignity,as there are no tools for us to dig the ground. I didn't dare to look at him. I mourn. R.I.P.,Spotky or Spotty.

Volleyball competition tomorrow at 8am until 8pm,have to wake up at 6am. I'm the captain and setter again. I don't feel good,a bit stress. Looking forward to have a nice match tomorrow.

Look at her cute innocent puppy eyes~so adorable and so 'guai'~

This photo was taken on the day I brought her home. Was in Y.Hui's car on the way back to my place. She fallen asleep with her head rested on my palm~

This is a suger glider,not mine,but it's so cute!but Y.Hui called it 'monster' =.-''

What can you do with a jacket during lectures?

Use it to keep warmth+cover your face and you can sleep whenever you can as long as you don't snores XD

Hoodies are cooler because it covers your whole face and you can try to scare people~

Writing board of chair spoiled and I decided to do some good by alerting people about it:

Milky

Those who know me well will know that I love dogs. I'm a dog person. And now,I have TWO pet dogs!! My good old Mimi of course is still in my hometown, with my mom,and now I have MILKY here with me in PJ~

Few weeks ago,Y.Hui called me and asked me what will SPCA do to unwanted puppies. There were four puppies at the back door of her place. So she asked me what to do with the puppies. Chances for puppies to survive by their own in KL is very low,and of course I would wanted to keep all of them, only if i could. So,last friday,The Gang came and fetched me and bought everything for the pup before we went to Y.Hui's place to see which puppy that I wanted to take in. Conditions of the pups were not so well.Ticks, skin problems and smelly. But overall they're all healthy pups. OK so four pups,it's hard for me to choose, one black with brown marks, one black with white marks, one brownish brown, one yellowish light brown. Then two Indian teenagers showed up,they said the pups were belongs to them, their grandpa thrown the pups here because he hates dogs, now they're coming to take the pups back and swear that they'll kill their grandpa if he ever touches their dogs again -.='' Since we've bought everything needed for my pup,so I still decided to take the yellowish light brown pup, because she's the skinniest, smallest and worst condition among all. And her cute pupppy eyes just caught my attention.

And so,she's my Milky now~Why milky?because her ligtht brown whith a little bit white area makes her look like 'milk tea',also remind me of brilliant HL.

She's my responsibility and I'm all she got. She will be a good companion. It seemed not to be a bright choice to keep her because when holiday I'll back my hometown. But nevermind, there's always a way.

Thanks to Y.Hui and WanChun for their sponsers of dog shampoo and dog chain. Photos of Milky will be up soon~Just too lazy to transfer pictures from my hp now~Whisky whisky~Ah~I'll name my next dog Whisky.

It would be your fault if I fall for you, again.
